Opal and Diamond Ring with 10K Gold

This beautiful natural Australian Opal Doublet is from Coober Pedy, Australia and is from a vintage stock. It was set by one of the best opal setters in the industry. This opal has flashes green and and yellow fire, floating in a sea of light blue. Opals are fascinating and have different layers of dimension to them that flash brightly in different kinds of light. The photographs here show a bit of the flash but in direct sunlight there is so much more to see.

The opal doublet, in its 10K gold bezel setting, measures 10.2mm x 6.3mm and is 2.5mm high and rests on a fine silver closed backing. A sparkly brilliant white diamond is set next to the opal. The diamond in its 10K gold setting measures 2.75mm in diameter and includes a 1.5mm GH SI diamond. The 2mm x 1.4mm band is made of tarnish resistant silver and is hammered with a satin matte finish. The opal and diamond settings are polished. This ring is ready to ship in Size 7, 7.25 or Size 7.5.
