This gorgeous blue and lavender colored boulder opal has two small chips on two sides of the gem: one at just above 3 o'clock and the other at 9 o'clock. Here you see photos of the opal with close up photography but due to the patterning on the opal and the small size of the chips, these flaws are not very noticeable when wearing the ring. This boulder opal has been surrounded in 14K gold and has a 14K gold accent to its right side. The gem has a closed fine silver backing and rests upon a tarnish resistant silver hammered band of 1.8mm. The setting measures about 3/8 inch wide by 1/2 inch tall. This ring is a Size 5.5 and can be enlarged up to Size 6.5.
